Dry Skin Brushing

Skin Brushing can be done both wet and dry.  Macrobiotic style skin brushing is usually done in the shower with a natural bristle brush or natural fiber washcloth.  Most skin brushing is recommended to do dry and then shower afterwards. 

5 Reasons for Dry Skin Brush:

  1. Raise your energy.  Lymphatics move when the muscles move so if you are sitting at a desk all day the dry brushing is an important way to boost the natural elimination process of the skin.

Most of the brushing is in the motion moving toward the heart but you'll want to watch a few videos to learn the direction and technique.
